WC

Public bathrooms are always an adventure - and that's just finding one when you travel. Often in Europe one pays about 30 - 50 cents to use public facilities.

Here in Romania I've noticed all the public bathrooms I've found fall under two types:

Squatter - just stand on the foot spots and you'll be fine. (I've also used these in Turkey and Japan.)

Seatless - I'm not sure how much more a seat costs - but it's uncomfortable without one!

Traveling is always an adventure!

  1. The squatter kind used to be all you found in France too. (Try that with 17 layers and ski boots on!)
